Car was imported from Bogota, Colombia some years ago with the proper EPA paperwork and duties paid of course. HAS BEEN TITLED IN THE U.S. RECENTLY (So nothing to worry about). Last owner kept it in Florida and played around with it here and there as an around town driver.Body is BEAUTIFULLY STRAIGHT AND CLEAN, the underside is ridiculously clean. I have never seen one this nice, and these are notorious for rusting like any other older Jeep. Floors/Frame/Body Mounts are SUPER CLEAN.Under the hood is the original 2F inline 6 cylinder Toyota engine the truck was born with, freshened up during the refurbishing sometime in the late 1990s. Recently it has been tuned, NEW battery installed. EXCELLENT CLUTCH, EXCELLENT BRAKES, VERY NICE STEERING. You can get in and drive this truck RIGHT NOW. It's a bit cold natured, but once you get it warmed up it's a very cool cruiser.Interior was mostly redone with NEW reupholstered, NEW full length rubber matting (so it can easily be hosed off). Comes with FULL HARDTOP as you can see, which can be removed if desired.
Super nice but NOT perfect. Most of the pictures and the video will show you small imperfections. Paint is not perfect, just a driver quality paintjob with a handful of tiny paint bubbles here and there, most likely single stage but can be lightly wetsanded and buffed if desired. Some of the rubber gaskets are dry and should be replaced in a few spots. Could use carburetor rebuild as it's touchy. Brakes will need bleeding (I will have my mechanic go through them before auction ends to be sure they are 100%). A few small things not working (fog lights not connected, horn, perhaps a bulb or two may need replacing). Rear door only opens from inside. Left window needs minor track adjustment. 4x4 seems to engage fine but I've never tested it in snow or off road since I don't drive the truck much. I'm sure there are other things I can't remember right now.
It's basically a truck that runs and drives fine, but I would go through it and fine tune a few things before using it daily or driving it cross country of course, so please keep that in mind. Feel free to call me at (917) 749 4302 to discuss the truck in more detail.
Thank you and good luck bidding.
