UP FOR AUCTION IS AN EARLY PRODUCTION (NOV 1983) 1984 TOYOTA PICKUP XTRA CAB DULUXE SR5 IN CREME COLOR WITH BROWN INTERIOR. WHEN I PURCHASED THIS TRUCK IT WAS REPAIRED TO BE A RELIABLE TRUCK AND IT IS. THE TRUCK DOES HAVE SOME SLIGHT SURFACE RUST IN THE BED CORNERS AND AT THE BACK WINDOW DUE TO A CAMPER SHELL BEING ON THE TRUCK FROM THE PREVIOUS OWNER. THERE ARE SOME SLIGHT DENTS HERE AND THERE.
THE ENGINE IS STRONG WITH ABSOLUTELY NO OIL LEAKS, TRANSMISSION SHIFTS INTO AND OUT OF AND DOWNSHIFTS INTO AND OUT OF GEARS JUST FINE. SHIFTING INTO AND OUT OF 4X4 WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS ALSO AND NO LEAKS. FRONT AND REAR AXLES WORK PERFECTLY FINE AND ALSO NO LEAKS. ALL NEW OEM DOOR RUBBER/INSERTS AND NEW WINDOW REGULATORS/MOTORS ON BOTH DOORS. POWER WINDOWS WORK PERFECTLY AND SMOOTH. ALSO COMES WITH ORIGINAL CHROME SPARE TIRE AND TIRE WITH VERY GOOD TREAD. NEW EXHAUST/MUFFLER SYSTEM INSTALLED. I ALSO HAVE THE ORIGINAL BUMPER AND FRONT VALANCE.
THIS WAS BUILT TO KEEP AND ENJOY BUT UNFORTUNATELY I'VE ONLY ENJOYED IT FOR SEVERAL HUNDREDS OF MILES AND NEED TO WORK ON MY OTHER PROJECTS. AFTER ALL THESE REPAIRS I HAVE ONLY DRIVEN THE TRUCK ABOUT 900 HUNDRED MILES AS IT WAS ONLY A WEEKEND VEHICLE. YES I BELIEVE THIS TRUCK CAN BE DRIVEN ACROSS THE STATE WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS.

SO IF YOU ALREADY HAVE AN ENGINE, OR YOU WANT TO BUILD YOUR OWN CUSTOM ENGINE AND JUST NEED A NICE TRUCK MINUS ENGINE, THEN HERE IS ANOTHER OPTION. I COULD USE THIS ENGINE FOR MY 4RUNNER SO IF THE WINNING BUYER DOESN'T NEED THE ENGINE (EVERYTHING ATTACHED TO ENGINE BLOCK FROM THE TOP OF THE AIR CLEANER TO THE OIL PAN AND ALL CLUTCH AND FLYWHEEL PARTS) I WILL MINUS $1,000 FROM THE FINAL PRICE. CAR CARRIERS WILL NOT TRANSPORT VEHICLE UNLESS IT CAN DRIVE IN AND OFF THE TRAILER, SO THIS MAY NOT BE FOR OUTSIDE THE CALIFORNIA AREA BIDDERS. 1. THE TRUCK WAS ORIGINALLY FROM WASHINGTON STATE AND A/C OPTION WAS NOT ORDERED SO TRUCK DOES NOT HAVE FACTORY A/C.
2. TITLE IS CLEAR AND IN HAND. 3. TRUCK IS CURRENTLY REGISTERED AND CALIFORNIA TAGS ARE UP IN JUNE 2018. 4. TRUCK SHOULD PASS SMOG TEST AND WILL A VISUAL TEST. HAS DONE SO WITHOUT A PROBLEM IN THE PAST ON THE FIRST RUN. 5. I FOUND ANOTHER CUBBY SPACE THAT GOES UNDER THE RADIO AND I WILL INCLUDE THAT WITH ORIGINAL SCREWS. 6. I WILL BE PUTTING ON THE TRANSMISSION SKID PLATE YOU SEE ABOVE.
