1983 Toyota Hilux Description

This 80's Toyota Hilux is the same shaped model as was used by the legendary Barry Crump in his iconic New Zealand add series and this is a similar shaped model as was used in the movie "Hunt for the Wilder-people!"This cab and chassis model has a cab in great condition, no real sign of rust and everything works, is heater, fan, speedo, lights etc.The deck has been on since new, is all steel construction with replaceable plywood tray and again is in great shape.
The whole truck is in great shape for it's age, having all original parts, panels, engine and running gear. It's had an easy life, and shows some minor dings and scratches as you might expect. The mileage is original and has never been in a crash. It has near new brake shoes all round, all 4 Tyres are the 16" 'All traction' that have only done about 10,000km and are on the original split rims. The spare plus another matching tyre are about half worn. The motor runs great, just requires a water pump repair. The only things not original would be the muffler and the usual engine tune up parts. The paint and color is original, I have the issued hand book and ownership papers. It has been stored in my shed for the past 10 years unused so has been out of the weather. The Vin on this vehicle is the model number as by NZ law cars registered before 1994 use the model number as the Vin. I understand it's different in other countries. That's why the 0's are used above, eBay adv ised this action. I am the registered owner. This is my first sale on eBay so I don't have a rating. I'm just trying to advertise internationally rather than just in NZ. Be aware that there is no eBay NZ that's why the listing price is in US dollars and not NZ currency, and goes through eBay US. I've contacted eBay over this and everything is above board. Buyer pays shipping. It's been an awesome truck! Thanks all.
