Hello and welcome to my auction. If you are reading this you likely already know how special this car is. In case you do not know please allow me to explain. This car is Toyotas original hot hatch. It was made in limited production at the NUUMI plant in Fremont California, and only for two years in 1987 and 1988. It is equipped with 4 wheel independent suspension, front and rear sway bars, and four wheel disc brakes, and fuel injection. This cars engine design was the result of the collaboration between Yamaha and Toyota. The valve train (16 valve dual over head cams) and intake system, a Timed Variable Intake System (TVIS) were the wonderful result of Yamaha and Toyota putting their best engineers together to design a capable and reliable powertrain. It worked. The legendary 4AGE engine is also well known for its strength and near 8000 rpm redline.
This car has a clean carfax as pictured with no issues. I have a clear Arizona title ready to be transferred. This car has its numbers matching engine and transmission. This car is too clean to be parted out. I will not sell parts, please do not ask. My hope is to find a buyer who knows how special this car is and will make the necessary repairs to return this car to its former glory. The repairs that I know it needs are engine work, and a windshield. The windshield is available from a local glass installer here installed for $150.00. The timing belt replacement kit is available on ebay and many parts stores for about $100.00. I do not know the extent of what needs to be repaired or what it will cost for the engine to run. Best case scenario it needs a timing belt, worst case scenario the engine needs to be replaced. I welcome any and all inspections. The long block for this car is available from JEGS with a 3 year or 36,000 mile warranty for $2000.00. The car will also need a distributor, alternator, mass air flow sensor, air box and air snorkel. I have seen these with later model 4AGE Toyota engines known as the silver top and black top installed and are available on ebay with low mileage for between $1200 and $1800. There is a bit of surface rust at the bottom corner of each door and a couple small spots in the top of the drivers door jamb, and rear hatch as pictured. The car has Tein lowering springs installed on all four corners for better handling. Another set of 4 springs and 2 struts are included with the car. The sideskirts and rear hatch wing were removed before I purchased the car. The intake manifold was also removed and is in the trunk.

This car will not read street signs. It will not tell you how to drive or drive for you. It will not limit how fast you can go. It does not have a plethora of overpriced, needless technology that will force you to take your car for repairs for things your smart phone can do and will get 28 to 38 miles per gallon after the necessary repairs are made.
