I am the 2nd owner of this truck and I purchased it from an older gentleman in my neighborhood who purchased this T100 new (original wheels as part of a dealer-package) in South Florida when new in 1994.
I purchased the truck with 121,xxx and it now, 3+ yrs later, it only has 123,600! The reason I was so interested in this particular truck is because the gentleman I purchased it from is "one of those guys." He owned the T100, has a new Tundra and a Cadillac CT6 and they are all garage kept, well maintained and pampered.
In the pictures link, you will find the original owners manual and some of the many reports & invoices proving the gentleman I purchased the T100 from and I don't cut corners. Newer tires, brakes, muffler, shocks, radiator, starter, alternator, belts (Gatorback), valve covers/gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, fuel lines - & - proactive complete head gasket replacement, completed at Gatorland Toyota. He and I only ever run Mobil-1 full-synthetic and once I decided to sell, paid Gatorland Toyota and AERSI Toyota/Lexus separately for pre-purchase inspection reports which are included in the pictures. Nonetheless, I invite you to have the vehicle inspected by a local (near me) mechanic of your choice, at your cost, and I'll drive the truck to be inspected.
This is an older truck but it is rust free. It was never used to tow anything (see the chrome where the trailer hitch would seat.) It is not perfect by any means but it's solid as hell and still looks pretty darn nice, too. There are some dings, dents and scratches, expected for the age of the vehicle. The bench-seat was fairly worn so I paid to have CalTrend out of California craft custom upper and lower neoprene seat covers, head rest covers and an arm rest cover ($171.00). While I was at it, I pitched the OEM floor mats which were spent and installed 2 new heavy-duty Autocraft mats ($49.99) and a brand new battery, mid-April 2018 ($108.09 - will include receipt for battery with sale of truck as the battery has a multi-year pro-rated warranty).
**Please pay close attention to the following information:
- there is no AC (you'll see in the quote from Gatorland Toyota that the compressor failed and they want $900+. (I roll the windows down as they work just fine). If you turn wrenches, you could replace the compressor yourself for much less $ (used compressors for $60 - $80, new $200)
- the engine runs perfectly and the transmission shifts smoothly; however, there's an occasional mild sound from under the hood (nothing loud or obnoxious, but it exists from time to time). However, you will see in the notes from both AERSI and the Toyota dealership that the noise is coming from the AC compressor. I've been assured it will not affect the way the engine performs, it just may produce a sound at times and if you ever decide to replace the compressor, that will alleviate the noise.
- the passenger door will only open from the inside
- the driver-side airbag light is on and I never had it checked out or repaired (seat belt works great)
- Finally, the Toyota V06 recall campaign (you can google for more info.) - this would have been a $2179.00 head gasket repair but Toyota did right and covered the complete rework under their warranty recall. Please note, this engine did NOT have a blown head-gasket, this repair was completed proactively as part of Toyota's recall.
- the original tint is peeling and if you care to, will need to be either removed or redone
That's it. This is a great low-mileage truck with tons of life and mileage left in it at a great price. I have the clear title in hand. Thank you kindly for your interest and please contact me with any questions.
This vehicle is being sold as-is with no warranty and no returns allowed. If you decide to purchase the truck and plan to have it shipped/picked up by a transport company, I will assist you and the transport company with communications and logistics. Of course, all shipping and anything related at your cost. Thank you.
