1985 Toyota MR2 Description

Excellent condition first year model MR2 with original drivetrain, engine, interior and paint. I purchased this car from it's second owner in 2016. I have driven it sparingly and kept it garaged. Paint, interior, engine bay are all detailed and very clean. There is no rust on this car. I replaced the OEM leather shift boot and added a matching leather ebrake lever cover. I replaced the OEM steering wheel with a JDM market OEM wheel. The car came with an aftermarket Clarion stereo which I will include in the sale (wiring harness is still in the car for easy swap out). The timing belt was replaced in May 2014 at 75K miles. Since I purchased the car, I have had a new exhaust and cat installed, replaced the valve cover gasket and distributor o-ring. Suspension bushings were replaced with polyurethane bushings. Parking brake cables have been replaced with new ones. Four wheel realignment was performed and new brake pads installed. Both window regulators were replaced with new units. Power door lock solenoids replaced with used units. The throttle body and intake system was cleaned during the last service in March 2018. New battery was installed in August 2018. The A/C blows cold. Transmission and clutch work fine with smooth shifts. There is no 5th gear pop out issue. Falken tires are from 2012 with lots of tread left. Below are known issues:Tape player is intermittent.Drivers side speaker is not wired, but speaker does work.OEM subwoofer under drivers seat is blown.Power locks are disconnected.Minor dings and scratches in paint.Three tears in side bolster of drivers side seat.Clean CarFAX is available.Looking to sell this well maintained piece of 80's nostalgia to someone who will care for it as I have and enjoy it!
