1978 Toyota Land Cruiser Description

1978 Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4 diesel crew cab ! This thing is super unique and makes people smile anywhere it goes! It was found in Costa Rica and just had to get sent back here to start a new life as a trailer queen since its put in a long life of being a work truck and survived ! This is not a restored vehicle and has many flaws, bumps, bruises, and character. It has lots of potential as all the parts are there and working. It comes from a 3rd world country and was used for work! It looks to have had an attempt at a decent repaint but many corners were cut and plenty of body filler is underneath. It doesn't show signs of severe rust but isn't totally rust free. much of the underside looks to have been well painted over the years. It does fire right up and idles nice with tons of power ready to roam. the 4 speed transmission shifts fine and clutch seems strong. Being a diesel it does have more driveline resonance and vibration but feels very crude and powerful :) Interior is ok looking and not too bad to be in but the seat frames and seat belts definitely need to be re engineered to a safer standard.
