1985 classic Toyota SR5 4X4 truck with a custom black steel flatbed. I bought this truck in June, 2017 and I've been fixing it up for 1.5 years. For a fan of this truck, this is a rare find in very good shape. Perfect for 4x4 trails on narrow forest roads where bigger trucks can't squeeze between the trees. This is the ultimate Colorado all-weather fun vehicle. The man I bought this truck from was a retired county snow plow driver. He drove this truck to get to work when the blizzards hit.
I'm reluctantly selling this vehicle without completing all the restoration I planned, but I've accomplished a lot. For someone who wants a great 84-88 Toyota 4x4, it's already a great truck.
• Clean title, I own it free and clear
This truck is one with the rare and elusive black interiors, including the dash. Someone in the past ownership of this truck stripped many of the OEM interior parts from it and sold them off, including the OEM steering wheel. I've been hunting down black and dark grey interior parts for 1.5 years and have completed that part of the restoration. It looks good inside. It needs a headliner, which was next on my list ($200-400 for mechanic/CarToys work to install cab lights and wiring; $350 at StitchMasters for a black felt headliner). I have parts ready for install, like the cab lights, a roof console with map lights, and chrome exterior door handles which I just haven't gotten to yet. For someone wanting to repair or replace stuff on this truck, Yota Yard in Denver has everything you would need. I've been adding OEM stuff to this truck that come from a deluxe 4Runner. So, it's nicely equipped so far. I've been driving this truck as my daily vehicle for the last 1.5 years and it runs awesome. It always starts, no matter how cold it is.
