This Toyota has been in Az pretty much its whole
life and has been off the road since 92.
An older couple owned it and it was towed behind an
RV most of its life. No rot found on or under the body.
Aprox 27k documented miles on the odometer.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
1979 Toyota SR5 Liftback _ Its been in AZ pretty much
its whole life except when traveling behind an RV touring
around the SW part of the US. Some great points about this
car are: paint looks to be original and interior.
Stick car / and has AC too, which blows, but not cold.
It clearly has all the AC stuff under the hood. Possibly
dealer installed, which for AZ was very common back in
the 70s. Paint looks to be original, not 100% sure.
It is dry and dull, but its old enamel paint, and could prob
be wet sanded and buffed out. Im considering doing it to be
honest. If I do Ill relist it.
Clean clear Az title in hand.
Check out the pics and more info below...thanks

DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND, apparently some people
who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules.
So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!
These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition
that are still affordable to most buyers.

DRIVETRAIN: the factory 4cyl and drivetrain are pretty much looks the way it left the dealer back in 79.Nothing looks to be missing. I hooked up
an E-fuel pump under the hood to a small container of fuel, and after a
few seconds of cranking it, it came to life and sat there and idled. So for
now, so we can move it around, thats how we have it. It will need the gas
tank cleaned out and lines flushed out at the very least to be a daily
driver. Tires are in decent shape, and put on back n 2008.
As mentioned above, the motor does run and sounds good. Oil is very
clean. Havent touched the carb yet, it may need to be gone thru too.
As is, Ive driven this car around the block and it drives great. Brakes
and clutch feel good too. It stalled once of twice in the last few times
Ive driven it, and took a little longer to start. But when its cold its
easier to fire right up. Im going to see if the choke may not be opening
which is my guess.
Front disc brakes and brakes in general feel ok.

INTERIOR: take a look, this cars been in a garage for since the early
90s and other then some minor dryness and cracking, it is in pretty
amazing shop inside. Factory gauges for the SR5 Pkg all appear to be working too. Some of the plastics need a good cleaning, but as is overall
it would be fine for taking to the local car show and or event.
Alot of it could prob be taken apart, restored and saved. Dont see much if anything missing, even the stock radio is still in place. The floors on the
inside have stayed nice and dry and are solid and rot free. Rear wiper and
window defroster too. Window tint is really old and peeling.
I think it would look better if it had no tint actually.

EXTERIOR:the body again is in pretty amazing shape. Paint appears
to be original too. Ive noticed a few small dents on the body (which
could prob be removed by Painless Dent repair).
All the gaps etc look great too. Chrome on the bumpers in nice shape.
Doors work great, glass looks good too. Some plastic trim on the dr
side by the back 1/4 window cracked and aged.
All the exterior lighting seems to be working well too.

SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal and very original
for its age. Nice and dry and rust free under there. No mods or
anything there, just nice stock and original. Front brakes are disc.
Tires have alot of tread left, and where put on in 08 and barely
used. 14" Aluminum Supra wheels shown in a few pics ARE OPTIONAL
for an extra cost. (no tires)

ON EBAY !
Shows you all the good as well as any bad, hope you them
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks.
Having as much as the original steel on a restored car
speaks volumes.
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what
surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please

Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car
they are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy esp
long distance. Our auctions are very detailed.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER

Along with ANY other questions you may have.
