1979 Toyota Pickup Short bed 4x4
Selling my first truck I ever owned and I already regret even posting it for sale, I purchased it when I was 19 years old .It NEVER gave me anyissues besides one time when the battery terminal became loose and that is it!I cannot prove it but i believe im the 2nd or 3rd owner. The truck is all original besides the rear bumper,carpet,wheels,dash cover lay, tail lights and running lights. This is the 1st year of the 4x4 pickup, 20R engine with a 4 speed transmission that shifts smooth with no grinding at all. I purchased it with a salvage title due to a rear end accident years ago. You can see the passenger side rear bottom corner has thedamagefrom it, i still do have the original rear bumper. The paint is all original. Does have a few dents. These trucks are rare and hard to come by in this condition. In the 7 years of owning it i have not seen it drip on drop of oil. The engine runs really smooth and tight. It just passed California Smogemissions but the originalcarburetoris getting tired. I always wanted to replace it with a aftermarket one to let the engine breath better. Between the cab and bed there is a label saying it was built in Long beach California and by the gas cap door it has the original "unleaded fuel only" sticker. It cruises 65mph with no problem. The windshield strip does need replacing, it developed a leak that cause a rust area in the passenger side floor board that wasprofessionallyrepaired. Overall its in great shape for being 36 years old and is reliable. All of the gauges work and odometer shows 50,xxx and it will go up sense i do daily drive it. The radio does not work and it never bothered me, I never had to use the heater or the AC but im sure it will need a charge, power steering works great. I dont know how else todescribe it so i took plenty of pictures!
