It is with great regret that the time has come for me to sell my beloved Chaser- the single greatest car I have ever owned in my life. I am only selling because I will be moving back to Japan soon. I have purchased this car from the original owner in Japan, making me only the second owner and the first owner in the U.S. I imported it myself, it has a clean U.S title and registration is good until 2020.

There is a service record booklet with various service records, they are all in Japanese. I have the latest shaken (Japanese inspection) in which it passed the same year I bought it, 2018. I also have the original service manual and owners manual.

Last service had the following done:

-Oil and oil filter change (10W-30 synthetic, as per recommendation in the owners manual)

-New air filter

-A/C charge and service

-New front window regulator (with warranty)

Before I received the car, the last service done by the previous owner included (at 105k KM):

-Timing belt replacement

-ATF flush and change

-Valve cover gasket changed

-All other fluids replaced

Without a doubt one of the most practical, performance sedans, on the market today the JZX90 checks all the right boxes. The Chaser’s practical dimensions allows for four full size adults to fit comfortably, with a trunk to match, all while secretly producing more power than most sports cars of the era. Finished in Toyota's Dark Green Mica (6N2) the color has a very subtle look that really shines out in the sunlight. This one does have some small rear bumper scuffs and touch up paint around the body. Any car of this vintage would greatly benefit from a good paint correction to help bring it back to life. Otherwise this is a near perfect JZX90- it’s just a great candidate for someone looking for a proper 4-door sport sedan.

The interior of the JZX90 has been well cared for and it shows. No modifications have been made inside the cabin although the previous owner removed the double din head unit before leaving Japan and replaced it with a high-end Carozzeria unit including wiring for auxiliary input and a GPS input. The number one wear item in every car is the driver's seat. Barring a little bit of bolster wear it's held up impressively well. The passenger and rear seats are equally clean and free of any major wear. The dash is almost perfect, aside from a small crack (which is a relatively common issue). The door panels are also in excellent shape, free of any real signs of wear. The wood trim is in perfect condition, with no cracking or fading in the veneer. The interior as a whole is quite nice and is fitted with all of the power features you'd expect to find. Power windows, mirrors, automatic climate control, auto headlights lights, all operating as you'd expect. The A/C is blasting ice-cold, I have been driving the car at 100+ degree temperatures here in L.A summer with the A/C keeping me cool and the engine never overheats, always remaining at the correct operating temperature.

Under the hood is what really makes this car shine. The 1JZ-GTE is a brute of a motor with more than enough to get this sedan rolling down the highway. The twin turbo 2.5L fires up quickly and you’ll know when the turbos kick in as turbo wine when it’s sucking in tons of air. The power delivery is what sets this car apart from the Camry you're thinking of from back in the day. Once you get under way and the turbos spool the JZX90 pulls like a freight train. The powerband is exceptionally linear, from about 2,500 to redline the 1J never feels like it's going to end. The automatic transmission send the power to the rear tires the way a proper sports car should. And while many hate on the automatics, this transmission is shockingly good. It's ideal when cruising around town or making your normal commute, but when you want to overtake it’s extremely quick to respond. The shifts are crisp, and you don't have a massive delay when waiting for it to transition. The stock suspension is more than sufficient, and leaves you with plenty of space to never worry about ground clearance. For those of us who are a little against that, there are a number of companies in the US building coilovers for these, along with just about any performance part you may be after. This platform is ideal for those after a proper daily driver that still has gobs of untapped potential. With only 71K verified miles it's only just getting settled in. One of the most underrated platforms out there, don't sleep on this Chaser Tourer V.

Auction is being offered at no-reserve, so once you place a bid make sure you have the funds to pay that amount. Buyer is responsible for picking up the car or paying to have it shipped out. I have the clean title in my name on hand, along with the current registration. Everything is ready for her to go to a loving new owner. Please message me with any questions, thanks!
