1990 Toyota Landcruiser FJ62 western vehicle, last year of the FJ62 model/style
1990 Toyota Land Cruiser Description
Selling a nice western 1990 Toyota Land Cruiser that runs and drives excellent and is in great overall shape. This was the final year of the FJ62 body style and it is very clean aside from the clear coat peeling everywhere.. Original paint and in original unmolested condition (not lifted or altered)
Underside is original and CLEAN, tires are all terrains in good shape with lots of tread, AC is cold, heat works great, 4X4 works great, windows and locks ALL work, original carpet in fabulous condition aside from the cargo area which I recently replaced with an aftermarket section from ACC. Old section had a huge paint type stain that was super ugly.Jump in and drive it anywhere, I have been using it daily and it goes down I-10 at 70mph with no problem. Passed smog recently with no issues, might leave a small drop of fluid once in a while on the pavement but it is quite dry. Has 272,000 miles, unsure if anything was ever rebuilt prior to my owning it. Compression in each cylinder is great at 135-140 each. Had a ding on the drivers side rear and it is still there, reported in 2012 and there are numerous stone chips in the paint in the front/hood area as well that have not been touched up.
Had LOTS of work done this year totaling over $5,000 and I do have the bills/invoices. Some of the things done recently:
- NEW Alpine stereo with CD/SiriusXM ready 2-19
- NEW windshield in 2011- NEW alternator 8-19- NEW rear wheel cylinders and brakes, drums were resurfaced 6-19- AC system gone through and topped off with R12 (nice and cold) 7-19
- Rear main seal replaced ($$$) 3-19
- Rear transfer case output shaft/flange assembly replaced ($$$) 3-19
- NEW belts, coolant, front and rear differential, valve adjustment, greased all fittings, new exhaust from cat back, new spark plugs, clean throttle body, time engine ($$$$$) 2-19- NEW Optima battery 1-19- NEW starter 2010- NEW air filter, fuel pump 1-19- NEW KYB shocks front and back 2-19
- NEW tie rod ends and steering dampener 2-19
If you are looking at this truck/ad, you do know how hard it is to find a clean, rust free and unmolested FJ62!
If you bid on this and win, make sure you are good to go and do not need to talk to your wife afterwards or have to get a loan, etc... I would like a nice deposit (NON REFUNDABLE) and then either a cashiers check from Wells Fargo (where I bank) or if it is from your bank, I have to make sure/wait until it has cleared before it is driven off or hauled away.
