1984 Toyota Land Cruiser Description

Selling my 1984 TLC that I’ve owned since 1996.

Its in great condition, runs very well, and was used as a daily driver. With minimal off road use. Always maintainedby a local Land cruiser mechanic with all service records.

Some of the recently serviced or replaced parts in the last few years include, new battery replaced 12-1, New clutch, Rebuiltcarb, rebuilt power steering pump, and brake pads, Ac system compressor condenser and evaporatorrunning R134a, Brake booster, mastercylinder. The front and rear seats were also replacedfrom a very low mileagefj60 and are in perfect condition.

The 2f enginewith 194 thousand miles is stock and runs great with compression on all cylinders in the150s with less then 3 percent variant.

The Vechile is 95 percent stock. The things that are not stock are coatings on door handles and bumpers and the stock root beer brown paint was repainted 1984 stock white. Side view mirrors are from a fj62 and rims replaced with Procomp alloy wheels.

I’ve added many extras that really help modernize the vehicle. These include Viper alarm system with auto locking and closing locks, Pioneer Bluetooth stereo, new 5.25 door speakers, Solarguard metal film window tint, Led headlights and led interior lights.

A few of the known problems arecracked dash but it has a replacement cover. It has some minor rust on the roof gutters that have been patched by me but really needs to be professionally done.There is a leak of power steering fluid that I believeiscoming from the steering box. So that will needtobeaddressed.

The cruiser is currently registered in CA until8-20 and will pass strict CA emissions test.

The cruiser has been a great truck and I will truly miss the smile she puts on my face when I drive her. But I don’t use it enough now to justify keeping.

I wanted to add a couple small items to known issues that I forgot to mention. There are scratches on the passenger side front windshield from a dirty wiper blade and the horn will only honk if its warm.Loose electrical contact.
