1987 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 Description

1987 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60, originally from California, no rust. CARB certified Chevy Vortec V8 conversion, New Venture 5 speed with 4th and 5th gear overdrives, 1st gear granny. My awesome truck had an engine fire and I'm not in a position to repair it, so my loss is your gain. Wasn't in an accident either, overzealous fire man made sure he killed the hood and dash while extinguishing the flames. Hood and front fenders solid, cleaned them a little and painted poorly to highlight that the sheet metal is solid...couldn't tell when it was all smokey. This is a GREAT truck, these sell for $35-50k or more depending on level of parts and craftsmanship. A Painless wiring kit, gauges and a small block Chevy would be a possible cost effective route to bringing this beauty back to life, restore or customize...or the parts alone are worth over $7500. Condition (obviously) is Used, and the vehicle is being sold "As IS" with no implied warranty. The title in my name is Clean, however I believe that will change status once re-titled. Please check with your local DMV for more information.
Great truck, no rust, huge number of sweet parts on it. And...I have a replacement grille and headlight surrounds/turn signals that I bought a couple years ago and never put on...and I will include these once the reserve is met or someone makes a realistic offer.
