1981 Toyota Celica Description

This garage kept 1981 Toyota Celica is a Rare All Original unmolested survivor with under 55k original miles with Rear Wheel Drive. This model was the first year for the 22R motor and the first year for the 5 speed manual transmission and last year for this body style. Has been stored in temp control garage since 1994. Fuel tank has been dropped and cleaned inside and fuel pump replaced to get it running again. 4 new tires and all fluids have been changed, Its starts right up and runs great, no smoking or hesitation, these motors were extremely reliable and could take a beating.All original interior in great condition for its age, no tears in front or rear seats. Almost no wear marks or weathering on door panels (passenger door panel has small repair) and vinyl sides in rear are laminated with small tear. Dash is perfect with no cracks or fading. All gauges in cluster work including clock. Sunroof is manual crank and works perfect and original headliner is clean.Exterior is in nice shape with original paint showing signs of minor use and small dents and scratches do to normal wear and tear. Small rust spots (all spots sprayed regularly with fluid film to stop rust from growing) showing on sunroof (not on or around body opening or channel for sunroof) and on one wheel well (See pics for condition and details)Small damage on front hood in emblem area (See pics) and on lower portion below front bumper.Not rusted through on wheel well, inside is solid metal.Underneath is real clean with no rusted or rotted metal, mostly factory undercoated and some signs of surface rust only, very solid car, no rot anywhere.
