1987 Toyota Corolla SPORT GT-S Description

1987 Toyota Corolla GTS race car, prepared for SCCA Autocross X Prepared class
7 Time National Championship winning car (E Prepared 2011 – 2014, D Prepared 2015 -2017). 3 Time ProSolo R2 Class Champion (2011, 2012, 2015). 1900 lbs, 400+ wheel horsepower, lots of grip.
Car has been extremely reliable. The drivetrain is all overbuilt. Current tune is conservative, and the engine is designed to run another 8 hours without overhaul. Feed it fuel, new tires, and do the routine “nut-and-bolt” and you have a car that can run FTD almost anywhere, and trophy, or win, at Nationals.

Hasselgren 4AG 7-rib strapped block, with MRP 1.8 liter forged stroker crank

MRP built and CNC ported 4AG big port cylinder head, with custom cams, oversized Formula Atlantic valves, and shim under bucket conversion

JSP intake manifold and custom MRP top-mount turbo manifold

Garret G25-550 turbo with about 1 hour of run time

Custom 3-gallon dry sump oiling system

Dynoed at 430 wheel HP, at 18 PSI, on E85. Currently turned down to 17 PSI.

Car has launch control and line lock for ProSolos

Custom SPEC clutch and pressure plate

Jerico 4-speed dog box with custom adapter plate and input shaft to mount to T-50 bellhousing

3” Aluminum driveshaft with one spare (new in box)

Currie Ford 8” with aluminum 3rd member, full floating solid rear axle with new Yukon clutch type limited slip differential (spare Eaton gear differential included).

Rear axle is cambered -0.8 degrees both sides.

5-gallon fuel call, dual core radiator, electric fan,electric water pump, fuel pump, and surge tank mounted in the rear trunk area,low to the ground.

Custom chassis mounts for rear wing

Tubular front control arms with spherical bearings (1 season old)

Custom double adjustable Fortune Pro 2-Way front struts with external reservoirs, custom valving, and camber plates (all 1 season old)

Custom big brake kit with 4 piston Wilwood front calipers

Fully adjustable 3-link rear end with panhard bar with spherical bearings

Inboard / push-rod rear shock setup with custom valved double adjustable QA1 shocks (mounted in the trunk area)

15x10 Real Racing front wheels with 10.5-21.5-15 Avon A11 slicks
