1985 FJ60 Land Cruiser. Great shape. Runs great, New interior, new head gasket
1985 Toyota Land Cruiser Description
Truck is in great shape. I have owned it since 2006, and have babied it. I have several posts of it on IH8MUD.com under kdeaton. I took it to Costa Rica, to use when I was on vacation down there. It was stripped, repainted, reupholstered, converted to dual fuel Gasoline / CNG. With the cost of gasoline being at record lows, I don't have it hooked up . But the option is there to hook it right up. Doesn't affect the regular use of it at all.
After I got married, I no longer traveled regularly to Costa Rica, so I brought it back here. However, it has fallen victim to the wife's getting rid of my toys. Besides, I don't use it enough to really justify keeping it.
I have recently replaced the head gasket. Replaced the hydraulic pump with a Saginaw. Put Tacoma wheels on it. It has a built-in radar detector, 8 speaker stereo, 4WD works like a charm. It is not a fast truck, like all old Land Cruisers, but it will haul its weight and then some, and it will take on the worst 4 wheelin tracks. If you're going to do heavy duty offroading, I'd recommend lifting it and getting bigger wheels. The parts are readily available. The spare is an old steel wheel, so it doesn't match the other wheels.
If you have any questions, the truck is available for inspection. I will even take it to a local shop (~50 miles of 37090) if you want to get it inspected. But please coordinate with me.
I will work with your shipping choice. I can deliver the truck locally to a shipping terminal, or meet a car carrier. Again, with prior coordination.
Any questions, just contact me. By the way, the N.Y. plates are because that's where I received the car when it was shipped back. I didn't drive it in the snow at all, and I brought it shortly thereafter to the Nashville, TN area.
