1971 TOYOTA FJ40 LAND CRUISER FULLY RESTORED ***MUST SEE***
1971 Toyota Land Cruiser Description
This 1971 Toyota Landcruiser just finished receiving a complete frame off restoration. Every part is new or refurbished with as many as possible being Genuine Toyota OEM replacements. I have owned this FJ40 for almost 10 years, and it was driven regularly in its stock smurf blue condition until I decided to start tearing it down in 2011 to start the restoration. It has less than 100 miles on the build. This vehicle came stock with the inline Toyota 6 cylinder motor and 3 speed floor shift transmission. It also was equipped with a factory PTO winch option for an added bonus. In the restoration process, I wanted to build this Landcruiser in stock form with a few additional upgrades to the powertrain and chassis. Aside from the new suspension lift, taller than stock tires, stainless steel braided brake lines, upgraded carburetor, and electronic ignition distributor, everything else on this FJ40 was restored back to stock condition. I am not a fan of the blue, so I changed the color to Toyota's 621 Rustic Green. No money was spared in this build, as I wanted it to turn out in new condition from 1971 or better, which I believe it did. I am not going to explain the details in paragraph, as I broke most everything down into categorized bullet points. This Landcruiser has never been off pavement other than to photograph. It gets a lot of attention as it goes down the road, and would make a great addition for a Toyota collector or someone who wants to drive it regularly as a restored classic. Please email me for any other questions or details if needed.
