This is a very clean super rare diesel with the legendary 3B engine that is known to easily go to 500,000 miles. With 87,185 Kilometers(52,311 miles) on the odometer, the engine is just getting warmed up.The diesel cruisers are great for a daily driver since not only do their unique style get lots of attention, but they get great gas mileage at an average 30mpg. These trucks were meant to be used either highway driving or city streets.The diesels are much rarer than the gasoline FJ40s since they were never imported into the US, which of course makes them more valuable.This cruiser has the Toyota Beige 464 paint color, one of the most popular. This cruiser has no rust: runs quiet and clean with no strange noises, leaks or drips. The steering is tight. Shift and transfer work perfectly. Instrument panel, lights, and brakes all work correctly. The cruiser was inspected by a diesel mechanic and certified to have no issues.It was owned by two families and sold because the son needed the money for college. It was always garaged kept and maintained with oil changes and anything else that needed to be fixed, though it was stated that very little ever needed to be fixed since it has ran like a top from day 1.The engine was swapped out for a 3B engine from a 1990 Land Cruiser to get the extra power a 3B has. There is 37,000 approx miles on the 3B engine.This is a very original cruiser in excellent condition.
