1971 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 Description

This is a 1971 Toyota FJ40. It is not complete. It does not run now. You can not drive it home.It is a project. It is a builder. Or what some would call a blank canvas to do as you want with.I would call it an almost rustfree Arizona and New Mexico desert Cruiser that will be a great base to build on. The body is nice. Very, very little rust. A little above rear bumper,a small area on the the lower inner left side rear door, some rust damage on drivers side floor at inner rocker. And there is some fiberglass repair right in front of that on the inner rocker. And there is one rust hole on top on rear tranny tunnel above rear diff. Which unless you lift the Cruiser with your forklift and dig around for i, you would never find. I tried to show all these in pictures.Looks like the it was project that someone gave up on. Looks like the stripped much of the Cruiser down, pulled gauges, parts of th electrical harness, switches, seats, ignition assembly, heater fan, wiper assembl, gas tank, turn signals, horn, etc, etc. They started some new wiring to get the engine running. And had some aftermarket gauges hooked up. Engine is stock Toyot, number F 353415 I did not try to fire the engine up.Oil looks clean. I did do a compression check and it was 145-150 psi straight across. Needs fuel pump. Newer aftermarket Weber carb is on there. Stock Cruiser engine.Vacumn 4wd. Warn hubs. Transfer case, diffs, hubs, rear axle look good. There are 4 extra springs in the rear.Couple on truck now need help. Windshield is cracked. Stock factory roll bar is in nice shape. The rear wheel well inner lips have not been cut or vicegripped to death to fit bigger tires in there. Like most these days. Cruiser has tan primer on it. Seats and gas tank are sitting in there not bolted home. No hardtop, doors, top frame. What you see is what you get. This will be a great one for someone who wants to start with as nice, rustfree solid tub as is possible to build a Cruiser their way. Either stay stock or build a hot rod Cruiser. Has straight clean Arizona title in my name and ready to go. Full payment within 7 days. Storage till pickup is no problem. No problem arranging overseas shipping. Let me know if you have any questions.
