Triumph Spitfire 1976 Inca Yellow
1976 Triumph Spitfire Description
A very sharp little spit, ex California car/Fla car one rust thru in the floor channel on the drivers side the size of you little finger, (It could literally be brazed up quit nicely with a small filler piece, precisely what I was going to do the rest of the floor solid) all else ROCK solid and no bondo, interior decent and servicable Top ditto. Comes with factory hardtop. The issue, typical Spitfire rod knock, it still runs/drives in the drive way but will not be safe to go down the road. the plus lots of new parts plus exhaust tire suspension brakes etc I bought this to redo for my daughter, didn't work out. The former owner had it for 15 years and it comes with a stack of service work and parts replacement. Body is very straight and chrome very good, thats why I bought it. Ask what ever and I will try to answer.
forgot to mention, while I had it up on jackstands I discovered it had overdrive, but it didn't have the O/D shift knob so I read the records and it says the OD needs a switch or something, can't believe the guy didn't fix it.
