GR Auto Gallery is thrilled to offer this top shelf, fully restored, 1973 Triumph TR6 for world consideration. The TR6 is considered the last of the traditional British open sports cars. These cars offered pure, open air, sports car motoring experience that is unique to the brand. The sound, the feel and the handling is something that any driving enthusiast should experience. The traditional design, mechanical reliability and parts availability make the easy to own and enjoy. For these reasons,... they have become proven investments. The 1973 TR6 offered here has bee the recipient of a complete high quality restoration completed approximately 2 years ago. It is finished in very attractive Garnett Red Pearl exterior paint over saddle tan interior with black vinyl reflective top. It is powered by its rebuilt 2.5 liter engine fed by its signature dual Stromberg Carbs and intake, 4 speed transmission and rear wheel drive. The interior is all new with all correct materials featuring high back seats, smiths gauges, correct new tan carpeting, wood dash fascia, JVC sound system, high quality wood steering wheel, roll bar etc. The exterior paint is to die for. The Garnett Red Pearl affect paint lays very flat, very glossy and jumps in the sunshine, and the silver competition stripe package give this TR6 a definite edge in the curb appeal department. The engine bay is highly detailed and features all new hoses, clamps and hardware. An aluminum valve cover dons the top on the engine, the shroud is new etc. Other mechanical highlights included new cam, new brake master cylinder, new drums, new springs, new bearings, new ca, tappets, new vacuum advance, headers, exhaust etc. The underside is finished off and all the suspension pieces, grommets, bushings, etc. are new at the time of restoration. The performance of this TR6 is amazing. The car accelerates strong through all gears, the suspension and steering is tight giving timely feed back to the driver, and the car brakes most excellently. This TR6 is a high quality as well as a car that is a blast to drive. These cars continue to be undervalued as the European sports car market remains on fire. No wrong decision here.
