1976 Triumph TR-6 Convertible Description

Up for auction is my 1976 Triumph TR-6. I purchased the car from the son of a gentleman that bought the car from Leith Lincoln Mercury in Raleigh NC in June of 1977 ( have original purchase agreement from the dealer ). I have a detailed file going back to 1977. This is a reluctant sale as I plannedon keeping her forever but issues have come up that force me to sell her. I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. This is you chance to get a solid straightforward Triumph TR6 well below the current market value.Make no mistakeshe is selling this week to the highest / last bidder. Much has been done to the car so please take time to read the auction in its entirety. Mechanicals:The car runsgreat. Starts right up with no issues, smoke or ticking noises. Shifts up /down through all the gears with no issues. Has great throttle response. The car was justserviced. Car sports upgraded duel Weber carburetors, recent new exhaust system, recent upgraded electronic ignition, new gas tank, new fuel pump and new fuel sending unit. The engine had a complete engine rebuild about 14k miles ago ( have the documentation ). If you know these cars then you will notice how original the engine bay is with all the correct hoses and emission equipment including the smog pump and charcoal canister. Exterior:The car shows well in the photos and presents herself well in person but this is 100% all original paint so it does have some flaws. Zero rust or rust repairs on the car. She's a true survivor which you don't see very often. The wheels are stunning perfect and are wrapped in like new high quality Yokohama radial tires. Car comes with a matching spare and matching tire. Electrical's:This area is in exceptional condition. The front / rear running lights work, front / rearturn signals work, front / rear side markers work, headlights work, brake lights work, back up lights work, wipers work, blower fan works, licence plate lights work and the stereo works. Needs nothing that I'm aware of at this time. Gauges:All gauges are correct"Smith" brand and appear to be in working order at this time.
Interior:The interior is very, very nice as seen in the photos. Soft Top:The soft is brand new this week. Was professionally installed. New Robbins top with fold out rear window, all new frame seals, new header rail seal and new soft top webbing kit. Covers:Yes carcomes with a top cover and a Tonneau / Cockpit cover. Trunk:The trunk is rock solid. Has all the original tools, books, manuals and a matching wheel, tire, extra wheel center cap and 4 extra chrome lug nuts. Underbody:The underbody is in very good condition as seen in the photo. Shipping:If you need to have the car shipped to your location here in the states you can get a fast and free online quote from Able Auto Transport at: http://www.ableautotransport.com/ Overseas Bidders:Yes the auction is open to overseas bidders and if you need to ship overseas try Schumacher Cargo Logisticsshipping for fast free quotes ( http://www.schumachercargo.com/ ). In Closing:The abovedescriptionis my observations and opinions and they very from person to person so ask all questions prior to bidding. If I have missed anything in the cars description it was not my intention so please ask for as much detail as you need to make an informed decision on the car prior to bidding.Don't want the winning bidder saying afterwards well you missed this or that. Be a responsible bidder and ask all questions prior to bidding I'm not an expert and my opinion ofthe car may vary from yours so please look at the photos closely and if you need more information or any extra photos please ask prior to bidding. I know how hard it is to purchase a car online so please ask any and all questions you have prior to bidding or if you can come see and drive the car for yourself ( I really encourage you to do so ) as I want the winning bidder to be satisfied with the car when it arrives. She's all original so you should expect a 41 year old car whenn she arrives at your home. Due to the cars age and having no way to warranty the carI'm selling heras in "as is" condition and mileage exempt.A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auctions end.
