1974 Triumph TR-6. Rust Free. 91,445 Original Miles
1974 Triumph TR-6 Description
1974 TR6 with 91,445 Original miles. This is an unmolested, all original car, except for a few upgrades and new parts. It is completely rust free, all original body and no evidence of any rust repairs. The body lines and panels are incredible and straight as they come, with zero dents and no waves. All gauges have been cleaned and are working. The engine top end was gone through and the bores are smooth with no scores or ridges. Anything necessary to the top end (cylinder head) was redone, and done right. New Peco duel exhaust system, and rebuilt Stromberg carbs with a master rebuild kit. The shocks are new, new brake lines, and the gas tank was removed and cleaned, (although there was no rust in the tank.) All original spare wheel and manuals. Sporting nearly new Michelin X Red line tires. The top is 2 years old with clear windows. The door panels and dash pad are in great condition. Seats are in excellent condition as well. The chrome is in very good condition with just some tiny specks of age. She runs and drives great. Fires right up. The steering is tight with no play as is the clutch which is fairly new. The gears are tight and she shifts smooth. Some new wiring was done, a pertronix electronic ignition added and a new battery. In time the things I would do while enjoying the car are, inspect and replace any universal joints, polish or buff to create more luster and shine in the paint (paint is original color red with orange tint and has a few stains.) And the center hump carpet is faded. The car spent most of its life in Georgia and Always Garaged and cared for, which contributes to it's Rust Free Condition.
