About this car
· At 70 mph car had no shakes and ran straight
· Oil Change and filter
· K&N Air Filters cleaned and recharged
· Dual SU Carbs
· Shifts Smooth
· Good Mechanical Shape
· Top is in good shape no tears and window is not fogged.
· *Front brake pads have 90%+
· Rear brake pads I would say have about 12,000 miles left on them, this depends on how you drive.
· Whomever did the paint job did a sloppy job. There are spider cracks on the car as well as chipping. I will show them in the pics.
I bought this car to do a Restore for the reason of how good of shape its in. I decided to do another MG instead. My opinion about this TR6,
1) Drive and enjoy the way it is, maybe update the interior. It could use it.
2) Do a Maaco paint job and new interior you would have a fantastic looking TR6. That would really increase the value.
3) Do as I was going to do over the winter and do a complete restore. This car is a perfect candidate for that.
