1971 Triumph TR-6 -- Description

This 1971 Triumph TR6 is a car upgraded with a ton of style and substance. The cool paint theme, two tops, custom comfy interior, and much more all come together to deliver a carefully crafted sports car that's guaranteed to turn heads.

The color on this one is called Black Pearl. It takes the midnight shade and adds a ton of metallic element to make this feel like midnight on a full moon starry night. This is paired perfectly with an offset silver racing stripe that has a radiance all on its own. Plus, there's even a removable hard top that fully matches the color theme, stripe and all! So you can have a very distinct coupe-like profile whenever you want. And with this much care in the paint, you can tell they also spent time and money on the details. Clear headlights, added fog lights, bright rally-style wheels, and mirror-like bumpers create an upper-class total package.

Not only does this have a removable hardtop, but also there's a folding soft top that comes with the sale. It's a bright white, and if you like the way it looks against the dark finish, then you're going to love the interior. Inside, you have more great custom pieces. It starts with high back bucket seats finished in a supple leather. This coordinates with the door panels, shift boot, and dash for a thoughtful look. In fact, the whole presentation of upgrades is well-coordinated. For example, the roll bar is painted to match the exterior; the white-faced Smiths gauges match the dash; and there's plenty of wood trim on the dash, shift knob, and sports steering wheel. Even the upgraded pedals coordinate with the metal panel that houses the upgraded McIntosh AM/FM/CD subwoofer stereo.

Because the interior and exterior are ready to show off, the engine bay is quite tidy, too. This is a fully sorted setup, right down to the dual Stromberg carbs. These Truimphs are a good balance of a lightweight nature and a larger displacement than other British cars with its 2.5-liter straight six. That gave them a real advantage for get-up-and-go. And the four-speed manual transmission really gives you full control. So this one is a true blast to enjoy out on the open road. Especially because of the fully independent suspension and front disc brakes (and the undercarriage photos shows how fresh the whole setup is.)

This is an awesomely done Triumph of distinction. So if you're looking for an upper-class TR6, don't let this custom slip away. Call today!!!
