1968 Triumph GT6 MK 1 Description
Up for auction is a 1968 TRIUMPH GT6 MK 1 SPORTSCOUPE. It is a "Rust Free" project car which is rare to come by these days serial # K012958. Currently the GT6 has a transferable Canadian Title registration. It comes from the estate of an elderly gentleman whose dream was to fix it into daily driver. Pictures tell the condition of this vehicle well. Body and frame structure has "Zero" rust. Paint is presentable for a daily driver but not show quality and the undercoatinghas been appliedcrudely as shown. Only dent/ding is a scratch on lowerdrivers side door which you can see if you look close in pictures. Sheet metal stainless and chrome is very good overall. The floor panels have been replaced as well. Mechanically the brakes have been overhauled including the master cylinder as well new clutch and throw out bearing. The original radiator has been replaced. Motor starts and runs but will need a going over before being put back on the road. Glass is good with no cracks or breaks. Interior is decent but shows signs of wear. Vehicle comes with set of Triumph wire wheels, as shown, in the last picture but center hubs and locking caps have been lost over time. Also, included are a few extra parts as shown in the pictures. This little beauty is ideal for daily driver or for a full restore as the body is so clean and mechanics are good.International bidders are welcome to bid provided they are willing to pay any extra costs associated with shippingoverseas.
