1973 Triumph TR-6 Convertibale Description

Up for auction is my friends neat 1973 Triumph TR6 . She is a very, very low mileage car with only 68,150 on the odometer. 1973 is the last year for the full / solid chrome bumper cars as in 74' they added the big rubber bumper over riders. This is a true numbers matching car which adds huge value to cars of this make and vintage. The car just had a major work / service so please take time to read the entire auction as the work was extensive and cost many dollars. Car has zero rust / rust repairs that I know about or can detect on my inspection of the car. I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. This is a NO Reserve auction so high bidder takes her home. You don't see cars this clean / straight with low miles very often and even fewer selling at NO RESERVE. If you know these cars that you know restored ones sell well into the $20k range up to and over $30k. This is your chance to bid / buy one at a 3rd of that price. again, NO Reserve auction, bidding starts at $1.00 Mechanical's:Car runs well andstarts right up with no smoke or noises. Car holds good oil pressure when cold / warm. Work completed in the last 100 miles or so included: New distributor cap, New rotor button, New ignition points, New ignition wires, New spark plugs, New fuel pump, oil changed using Mobile 1 full synthetic oil, New oil filter, radiator flushed, New coolant added, New thermostat, New radiator cap, New alternator, recent battery, New fan belt and New heater control valve. The other major items just done are: New brake master cylinder, rebuilt brake booster, New front brake rotors, New front brake calipers, New front brake pads, New front brake hoses, New rear brake shoes, New rear brake wheel cylinders, New rear brake springs, New rear brake adjusters, New rear brake drums, New head valves, New head valve guides, New head gasket, resurface of the head, New piston rings, New oil pan gasket and the head was pressure tested. Runs good with no smoke and has been coveted to run on today's unleaded gasoline so no fuel additives are needed. Engine and drive train are tight with no fluid leaks / drips detected / seen at this time. The above listed work if you know these cars was not cheap to do and would cost many, many dollars if you bought one without all this work already being done. Lights: At last check all exteriorlights where in working order. Gauges: Car has all correct "Smith" gauges Interior:Is in average condition and I'll let the photos speak for its condition. Note: Just installed was a New carpet kit, New door gaskets and New correct Ammco Triumph logo rubber floor mats. Note: I'm waiting on VBC who I bought the carpet kit from to send me the emergency brake cover and hope to have that before the car is shipped. Fingers crossed Exterior: Driver quality car as seen in the photo's. Straight with no rust that I can find. Underbody:The under body is in nice condition as are the interior floors and frame of the car. Car has never had any under coating so you can see shes solid. Undercoating hides issues, not in this case. Soft Top:The soft top is in nice / serviceablecondition. Trunk:The trunk is solid. Car does have a spare original style wheel and original jack. Car goes with a top /boot cover and a Tonneau / cockpit cover

In Closing:This is my friends car and I believe the auction description and photos are a fair and accurate representation of the car. This is a rare numbers matching with only 68k miles on her. The above work just completed on the car would run you many thousands of dollars so the heavylifting has been done to her. Again, NO RESERVE AUCTION. High bidder takes her. I'm not an expert and my opinion of the car may vary from yours so please look at the photos closely and if you need more information or the extra photos I have available please ask prior to bidding. I know how hard it is to purchase a car online so please ask any and all questions you have prior to bidding or if you can come see the car for yourself ( I really encourage you to do so ) as I want the winning bidder to be satisfied with the car when it arrives. Due to the cars age and having no way to warranty the car I'm selling her as is and mileage exempt per state and federal law.A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auctions end. The $500 deposit must come through the auction / PayPal with No exceptions. If you don't have a PayPal account don't bid.
