1965 Triumph TR4 Description

1965 TRIUMPH TR4.

This car is ready for the final phase of restoration just pick your color!

a BUICK 215 ALL ALUMINUM V/8 with with 4bbl carb and Offenenhauser polished fined valve coversThis was the engine that ran in Indy back in the early days! Complete with 4spd manual transmission provides a great blend of power while weighing-in less than the stock 4 cylinder motor! Triumph loved the motor so much they bought it and eventually put it in their Rovers and finally the Triumph TR8!

To view the engine being run view the You tube link below: cut and paste into your browser. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_XWEao1Z1c

The body has been completely media blasted and minor ding repairs were made in preparation for painting. The entire body is in amazing condition with no rust issues. (see the before media blast pictures to see how straight and rust free all the panels were! The frame is also in great condition! Always stored indoors this car will be a "superior driver" or "high end show car" depending on your budget! All that remains is the fun part, paint and reassembly!

The engine was tuned, started and run this past year after several years of storage! Provided is a link to my utube video so you can see and hear how smooth and sweet the motor runs! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_XWEao1Z1c

The car comes complete with much new and the rest in quality driver condition! Here is a partial list: New windshield still in the cardboard box. Before the restoration was begun this car with the v/8 installed was being driven on the street! Also I estimate that 98% of parts needed for completion are included.
