Has up for auction one of the very nicest Super Beetles I've had the pleasure of selling! This is a 1971 Super Beetle Karmann body roadsters that was just restored! Brand new vibrant yellow paint, a brand new original rag convertible top with new boot and brand new tires. The interior is all original to the car and in excellent condition.Many brand new parts and lots of receipts.This was the first year VW featured the "Super Beetle." A bit longer so as to accommodate the spare that now stores under the trunk mat. This affords lots more storage room. The "Karmann" edition features an upgraded interior and dash.No expense was spared in restoring this beauty. The 1600 CC engine is original to the car. It runs strong and smooth. The four-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears. The car drives straight, peppy and stops on a dime.
