1971 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Description

1971 VW Super Beetle This is a project car. It was going to be my project car, but health issues and diminished ambition on my part have dictated that it will now be someone else’s project car. It has been sitting idle for at least a year and is living in my garage. Of course, since it is a 1971, it has had plenty of years to collect dirt and rust and a few dings. All the main parts are present: engine, transmission, wheels, tires (even the hubcaps), spare tire, all the windows are present and intact, front seats, gas tank. Missing parts: There is no radio, driver side window hand crank is broken, back seats are gone (replaced by a wooden platform to cover battery area), some of the “engine tin” surround is missing along with some of the screws that would hold the ”tin” in place. Gas tank has been drained and is dry. Oil has been drained. It also includes a VW tow bar. You need to have a vehicle with a hitch so you can tow the car away or hire your own tow truck. I have the title free and clear, and the car is licensed and currently tabbed. Happy bidding and thanks for looking.
