Fully Restored Near Mint Condition 1975 Brilliant Orange Westfalia. Less than 100 miles on the complete restoration, never camped in since finished, and always garage kept. With an excellent interior, and no rust, this bus looks like it rolled off the show room floor in 1975.The bus runs, drives, shifts, and stops great.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION-
  • Engine # CB070127 1700 CC
  • Engine runs great, before the restoration I drove it on a 1.5 hour trip with no issues, and have put on about 80 flawless miles after the restoration.
  • New Empi dual carburetor set up.
  • New Empi exhaust.
  • New coil, plugs, wires, and distributor.
  • New engine bay seal.
  • Engine was removed and all the tins were taken off and painted.
  • Originally an automatic bus, at some point in its life that transmission was removed and replaced with a manual transmission.
  • Shifts great, a short shift kit was also installed.
  • CV joints have been serviced and new boots installed.

  • All new seals were installed on the pop top as well.
  • City power hook up works.
  • City water hook up works.
  • Sink works through city water or with electric pump and water tank.
  • The refrigerator cools nicely using city power or aux battery, the temp adjustment knob is broken.
  • Rear seat folds into a bed with storage under it.
  • Propane tank has been re-painted with all new valves installed- I've never filled with propane to test the stove. The stove top does have a few rust blemishes.

ACCESSORIES-
  • Orange Side Tent
  • Factory collapsible spare tire, with period correct Coleman air pump
  • Rear snap in bug screen
  • Orange plaid storage box/ trash container
  • Original fire extinguisher
  • Original drivers cabin table and leg
  • Original triangular orange plaid pillow at dinette table

The lights, turn signals, wipers, horn, all work. As far as I can tell the fuel gauge is the only electrical component not working. The cabinet laminate does have some wear, but nothing unexpected for a 41 year old vehicle. The paint is new, single stage straight out of the gun, never buffed out, but has been laid down very nicely by a professional painter.
This is not your average Westfalia. The bus is in near mint condition, and I have searched high and low for to find the original color / period correct accessories. This bus would be perfect for any VW collection, an awesome daily driver, or to take on your next camping adventure! Clear title in my name.
I've tried my best to describe this bus as accurately as possible, please feel free to ask questions. I encourage you to come see it in person as well. Sold as is with no warranty. A $500 non refundable deposit is required through Paypal 24 hours from end of auction and the remaining balance to be paid via bank transfer within 7 days.
