1966 Volkswagen Squareback Type 3 Description

You are bidding on a 1966 VW Type 3 Squareback. This is one stunning Squareback that runs fantastic, 2 years ago the engine was replaced with a newly rebuilt Type 3 pancake 1600cc, with new dual carb set up, 12 Volt system conversion, 18,000 miles have been logged since installed, this is a perfect daily driver. The freeway flyer transmission was also newly installed, it shifts perfectly and cruises great on the highway, 75mph very comfortably. Just last summer we installed new carpet and front seat covers, groovy headliner, seat belts, came out really nice (See Photos). The car just had a recent brake job with new rotors, new Timbik bearings, new steering box, new sporty wheels with new tires on all 4's, nice sporty look to the car. The exterior presents a Desert Rose Patina (Rat Rod) look, that just pops out. Everything works perfectly as it should, LED lights, blinkers, windshield wipers, new fuse box set up, emergency flashers, heater controls, interior lights, pop-out windows, horn and so on.
