This car was imported from Sweden back in the 70's and has been in California since then and itis in great condition, the floor pan is original and looks great, all the body panels are nice also, the body and the pan are numbers matching.The car runs and drives great, it does have a later motor in it, that gives it that extra power when driving it around. The motor was rebuilt and has very low miles on it. The interior was justredone with the correct German materia, German square weave carpet, German Headliner, Seats and door panels were even done with the correct cloth from Germany, also just added a complete original wiring harness, so the wiring is neat and clean.The 1953 came with some neat features like a push button start, and a under the dash cigarette/cigar lighter.Everything on the car works grea, even the semaphores, and it alsohas a rare gas heater under the hood.This is a very fun car to drive that gets lots of thumbs up, How often do you ever see a 1953 beetle?
