1972 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Baja Bug, Class 5/1600 Race Car Description

Beautifully cared for and professionally prepped Baja Bug, Class 5/1600. Raced in the SCORE Baja 1000 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. SCORE certified. Jemco frame, Fat Performance engine, runs pump gas as of 2016, excellent tires and wheels, new shifter 2016, transmission re-built 2016, engine rebuild 2015, Lowrance, parker pumpers, Black Knight LED lights (2), winch, intercom wiring, race radio, etc. and is ready to race, right down to the fire extinguishers. We have some extra tires and wheels too. This car was green in 2013 and repainted for the 2014 race to represent a charity. This is a wonderful race car, lovingly cared for, professionally prepped every year, stored and raced. It would cost about $70,000 to build it from scratch.
