1979 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Convertible Description

Classic 1979 VW Beetle Big Karman Convertible. Last year this model was produced. Mars red with white top. Great shape and runs perfect. Awesome interior and seats. Garage stored and no rust. Pioneer 4 speaker AM/FM CD/MP3 stereo. Good paint, very few chips and dings. Top in good shape with glass window. 63k miles.. This car was driven and has some chipping around wheels and a couple of small dents.

This is no rust on the car. I plan to post more pics and take pictures of underneath, pan, fenders, & rocker panel. I bought the car about 15 years ago form a guy in Los Alamos, NM . He was 2nd owner (I think) had it garage stored as do I. It's a beautiful and nice running car. Has great interior and I replaced carpet and door panels. Seats are original with no tears. Engine is sound and starts every time. Shifts smoothly. I have had engine serviced by local VW shop for tune up only. This car passed NM emissions every year up until it wasn't required anymore as a classic. It was repainted by previous owner and the paint job is OK, not the best. Has original manual.
