1978 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Description

You are looking at a real nice westy. It's a 1978 . It is a RARE AUTOMATIC transmission. The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner. It runs great. I was told I needed to adjust the valves since it is a fresh rebuild. I have not because I haven't had time to drive it. It's been sitting for over a year. I put a new battery in it and she fired right up. I would recommend shipping instead of driving due to it has been sitting. I would want you to be close in case something went wrong. I'm not saying it is just cautious. The previous owner was in the process of restoration with new paint and also took the fuel injection off and put a new 2 barrel carb on her. The tent has some patches as you can see but ok. There is no rust anywhere . The tires have about 30% left. The front windshield was removed for paint and a new gaaket. The other window gaskets are original. I hate to sell her but my work schedule does not give me the time she needs. She is a nice bus. You won't find one this shape.
