1964 Beetle
I purchased this car a few months back from a lady who purchased it about 10 years ago from an estate sale. She told me she invested over $13,000 in the car having it restored. The brakes went out on her a couple years ago and she parked it and it sat unitl I purchased. Since purchasing I am $9,993.96 into the car hence the price. I am moving and will not have space to keep it inside. Car is a real head turner. People shout, throw peace signs and thumbs up, follow you into gas stations. Be prepared to hear everyones VW stories and answer a lot of questions. At the car shows it is a hit. As you can see in pics interior is clean. Exterior is shiny. Paint is what you want it to be. I did not repaint as what they call patina and I call needs a paint job is popular nowadays. Does have pop ups, scratches, dings, fillers and primers that don't show well in pics. Everyone tells me it is awesome and I should leave it that way so that's what I have done. Runs strong. I have had tune ups, oil changes, dual mc brakes, lights, horn, transmission, electrical, and a bunch of other things done to it. According to the mechanics it is still a 40 horse 6v car. Previous owner and myself have tried to keep an original look on the car as best as possible. All 5 wheels were professional powder coated and new wide white walls installed. Car looks good, runs good, sounds good, drives good. this is a nice sharp car but is not a $30,000 show car. Please no tire kickers or joy rides. Cash in hand buyers only. Car does not leave my house without cash in hand. Sold with Georgia title. Would prefer buyer view in person before purchasing. Sold as is
Just had questions about paint and sent a video by email. I want to stress that in my experience cars always look better in photos than they do in person. Please inspect before bidding or plan to drive as is or if you want it to be a cherry plan on a paint job. If this is a major purchase for you and it is crucial for it to be perfect in every way please don't bid. Thx!
