1971 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Description

Excellent condition with only 3 main issues:1 - Mice chewed a hole in the drivers side of the top. I have a new complete top to go with the car that will need to be installed by the buyer.2 - The rear right fender has a pretty bad dent in it. I have a new fender that is ready to go on the car. Buyer will have to put it on.3 - the car starts and warms up great but will not stay idling unless you give it a little gas when stopped. Drives great but stalls at idle. I'm sure it's just a matter of a carb cleaning.
Everything is solid, interior is nice, I bought it from a dealer that said they got it from the original owner. Writing is still on the back window from the dealer. I've owned it for about 5 years but I don't have the time to care for it and drive it so it's time for it to go to a better home. It has a lot of cool add ons that can be seen in the pictures. Back up lights, rear reflectors, euro plate up front, reading light on the passenger side, vw floor mats in the back, tow hitch installed, extra lights on front bumper. As far as I know all parts are there plus the add on features. Title is clean and in hand, car is currently registered and insured in Mass.
Car can be viewed in Western Mass. For pick up only, I will not deliver or ship. If buyer makes arrangement for shipping, I will help with getting the car to a local pick up spot or loaded onto the truck.
