1963 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Description

This is one very rare VW Kombi as you can see by the VIN number. This was purchased new by my father in 1963. I have the original title to the car, along with original license receipts, and the original license plate. The car was only driven for 4 years. I do not know why the car was not driven longer as I was too young then. The car was not wrecked, so perhaps it had a mechanical problem. The car has all 4 wheels and tires. I cannot verify whether the engine is in it as there is junk piled near the engine cover and I cannot open it. So assume that it has no engine. The car does have rust on it. I do know that one side door hinge is either loose or broken. All the door hinges need lubricating. It is difficult to shoot pictures of the inside as the inside is full of wood trim. I will help buyer remove the wood trim. It does have the rear seat frames and springs, but the upholstery has all deteriorated. I will cut down small trees so that the car can easily be removed. I have a tractor with a front end loader and forks to help you load the car. The car is located about one hour east of Lufkin, Texas. As I live about 260 miles from there, I am not able to go out and shoot more pictures. Buyer to deposit $250 to Paypal with the balance in U.S. cash currency only due upon picking up the car.
