1974 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Description

Talk about Hot! How about this 1974 BUG? The epitome of cool is this 1974 slammed and chopped VW with tinted glass, suicide doors, yep suicide doors along with a dropped suspension wide tires and a hot stance. It has a beautiful Gulf Blue paint finish with enough accents to make a real head-turner. To absolutely blow you away is the extra ordinary sound system powered by 3000 watts using not one but two Big Crunch amplifiers. The sound jumps through two Planet Audio 10's in a ported box with two 6X9 power base and two 6X9's on top. To make this a stand out Hot Bug is the 1600CC air cooled motor with duel Webber Carburetor mated to smooth running 4-speed manual transmission. Professionally restored and modified no expense was spared. It took 2VW's, this original one, and a donor VW to use in chopping the top and adding suicide doors. This car has a modified and lowered suspension that handles the wider five lug shells with Creative Car Craft fenders and mini tub wheel wells. The front brakes are Karman Ghia discs/rotors. A motified interior includes a custom steering colum, custom shifter, Ultra-Lite Tach and Speedo Guages that are illuminated in blue. Stainless interior door panels, matching blue dash with gray and black cloth seats and carpeted floor.
