1973 Volkswagen Thing Description

For sale 1973 Volkswagen Thing comes with clear title, it runs and it's fun to drive. The title is in my name so if you need a bill of sale along with title I can give you one. This car is a 4 cylinder, 4 speed manual alternator conversion. Has a gas heater, but don't know if it works I never tried to use it. Seat belts work. Headlights work, turn signals work. A good solid car. I did have the floor painted to protect against rust (see issues listed below - 2 small rust holes in floor behind driver seat). The car has been painted on the outside and doors. The dash is original paint.
In the picture 1 hub is missing but I found it so you will get ALL 4 of the hub caps.
It originally came with soft top, but I removed it because it was in bad shape. Still have the metal hardware for it, that will go with the car to the winning buyer. It has newer BF Goodrich tires on it.
It comes with some extra parts brand new, never installed, still in the boxes: new front adjustable beam, new front and rear disc brakes, new steering box, new inner and outer tie rods, new spindles, new upper and lower ball joints, new steering shock.
Issues with this car:

• Needs new top
• Needs 1 window
• There is 2 holes both behind drivers seat. One is approximately the size of a US quarter and the other is much smaller than a US dime
• The horn doesn't work
• I think the wiper motor needs replaced because the wipers don't always work
• I think the hole on the dash is for the lighter which I don't have.
