1987 Volkswagen Scirocco Description

i am selling a 1987 volkswagen scirocco 16 valve with a 1.8 liter engine and a manual 5 speed transmission. i have owned this vehicle for over 20 years. it has been a very good car to me but it is time to let her go to a new family.
it is lowered 2 inches on eibach sport line springs, with boge turbo gas shocks. stainless steel braided brake lines, 15 inch five spoke wheels wrapped in sumitomo rubber. it has a kenwood radio, with crutchfield amplifiers. two 8 inch subs in the rear deck and a number of boston acoustic speakers. it has a momo steering whee, shift knob and pedals. it also has a techtonics stainless steel down pipe with catalytic converter, and a stainless steel exhaust system with borla stainless steel muffler. the engine has a european intake cam, k&n air filter, power module, and over sized plug leads. im also giving a jacobs ignition system with the vehicle.
the seats are factory leather scirocco2 seats but not original to this car. the interior is in good condition, the leather has some wear and tear but the door panels, headliner and carpets should clean up nicely. the body is also good but the paint is dull, and has a few small rust spots. the only rust spot that goes through is a license plate light mount on the rear hatch. the remaining rust spots are surface rust only.
i had changed the fuel tank and the fuel tank pre-pump because the old tank had rusted out. i haven't been able to do any of the basicmaintenancethe car recently the car needs work, but would make a nice restoration project. the car runs but i would recommend bringing a trailer to ship it to your destination.
i had an issue with a lost title and lien releas, but it has been resolved. i have a duplicate title and a letter of no interest. the original bank that i had the loan wit, no longer exists, so i had tracked the successors of all the banks leading to my lien bank, which issued the letter of no interest. new york state dmv says this documentation is enough to clear the title. or you can just break the car up for parts.
if you require any additional information please e mail with any questions. the vehicle does not have any warranty expressed or implied and is sold 'where is' and in 'as is' condition. buyer is responsible for paymentand all shipping arrangementsupon winning the auction . deposit of $250.00 can be sent through paypal within 48 hours of auction close.
good luck and happy bidding.mikeschulzm1@verizon.net
