For sale is a 1972 vw beetle. I believe it is actually a 73, but is titled as a 72 (8/73 build date) it has been completely gone through, front to back. I purchased this car in Idaho, as rust free car. It was painted approximately 5 years ago. And the majority of the work was done then. However, the motor, suspension, tire and brake work was done in April of this year
Engine- Rebuilt 1600 dp, all stock, 50 miles since rebuild EMPI GT exhaust, heater boxes are installed but not connected
Brakes- new rubber lines, new wheel cylinders, new pads and hardware, new master cylinder
Suspension- new shocks, Empi drop Spindles
Paint- resprayed in Saturn yellow (vw convertible color) original color was Yukon yellow. Paint was DuPont urethane.
All door seals, window gaskets etc have been replaced.
Interior- new TMI interior including new dash pad, door panels, carpet (front, rear and trunk) and seats including new foam insets, empi shifter, Grant suede steering wheel
The bad- it was stored in my dad’s barn over the winter, mice tore up the driver’s seat and a spot in the headliner. Has one small rust area under battery. NEEDS AN ALIGNMENT
Tires- wheels are EMPI BRM replicas, 5.5 rears, 4.5 fronts. Tires are 155/60/15 continentals (smart car) fronts and 205/60/15 rears

Roof rack is included. It is a one piece Empi rack
