This is a special 1978 (type 2) Volkswagen Bus with 138,537 original miles. It is a 100% rust free California bus since new. The engine starts right up and runs extremely well. There are no leaks, smoke or any unusual noises. The entire drive-train is solid and tight. The clutch is perfect and it shifts perfectly through all the gears. The brakes, steering and suspensionare all in A+ condition. The bus is a lot of fun to drive and always receives compliments. This lovely hippie bus has been very well maintained with thousands of dollars worth of receipts and recent repair work completed only performed by seasoned VW mechanic shops. The vintage roof rack has just the right amount of patina and adds a tremendous amount of character...The body,chassis and floors are completely untouched and 100% rust free.
