1972 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Convertable Description

My 1972 VW Convertible (HERBIE), Tx. License (T LV BUG) is a terrific daily driver or a good start on a restoration. Having been a central Texas car, there is no rust. He is set up for towing behind your RV with a Blue Ox tow plate and is wired for breaking system and tow lights. He tows and drives great. Herbie was repainted in 2013 and the external rubber was also replaced. The top is like new and there is a boot for it when stowed. The rear bumper was replaced due to a smallencounter with a tree. There is a small ding in the right rear fender as a result of the same,(see picture).

The following is a list of items in good working order: 2 speed wipers, all gauges, hi/lo beams, turn signals, stop lights, dash lights. Emergency flashers inoperative due to switch. New switch included. The seats are probably not original as they do not adjust easily.
