-- THIS TRUCK IS FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION AND NEEDS A NEW HOME DUE TO HAVING ANOTHER VW BEING RESTORED. THE WIFE WILL NOT LET 2 IN THE GARAGE. I BOUGHT THIS TRUCK ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO FROM A FELLOW WHO HAD IT ONLY A SHORT TIME. THE TRUCK CAME FROM GEORGIA AND IS VERY DRY. IN THE SUMMER I DROVE THIS TRUCK EVERY DAY. EVERYONE JUST LOVES THE TRUCK - ABOUT TWO YEARS AGO I RAN INTO SOMEONE WHO LOVED THE TRUCK AS MUCH AS I DID AND HE DECIDED TO BUY THE TRUCK. I MISSED IT SO VERY MUCH. FAST FORWARD ANOTHER YEAR AND THE FELLOW THAT I SOLD IT TOO NEEDED MORE SPACE AND DECIDED TO SELL IT AGAIN- I HAD TO HAVE IT BACK --

I WAS SO EXCITED TO BE REUNITED WITH MY LOST VW -- YOU SHOULD OF SEEN MY WIFE'S FACE WHEN I PULLED MY SAME VW BACK INTO THE GARAGE AFTER A YEAR AWAY!!!

THIS TRUCK IS IN GREAT SHAPE!!! IT IS NOT A FRAME OFF RESTORED 100 POINT SHOW CAR. IT IS ONE SUPER CLEAN TRUCK THAT YOU CAN GET IN, DRIVE ANYWHERE, AND ENJOY!!! AND YES YOU CAN BE VERY PROUD OF IT AS WELL!!!

THE FRONT DISC BRAKES WORK GREAT!! CHANGED OVER TO DUAL MASTER CYLINDER. TIRES HAVE LESS THAN 500 MILES ON THEM AND WERE CHANGED LAST YEAR.

I INSTALLED A RETRO AM/FM W I POD HOOK UP- CUSTOM BOX UNDER SEAT, SPEAKER IN DASH

FRONT AND REAR STAINLESS SAFARI WINDOWS.

ENGINE FIRES UP WITH EASE, TRANSMSSION SHIFTS AS IT SHOULD.

ENGINE HAS NORMAL DRIPS- VERY DRY FOR A VW - I THINK I'M GETTING SOME SEAPEAGE FROM THE AXLE SEALS.

GATES ARE VERY SOLID- SOME HOLE ON THE BOTTOM'S

SOME SHEET METAL HAS BEEN REPLACE / FRONT FLOOR/ REAR TRAYS/ I DID PASSENGER DOOR TO FIX BROKEN HINGE .. .. I'M SURE MORE

THE BED AND TREASURE CHEST BED ARE ORIGNAL AND DO HAVE SOME RUST. PREVIOUS OWNER COVERED THEM WITH WOOD AND IT WORKS FINE FOR ME
