1971 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Description

This is a very clean '71 daily driver that has had a ton of work done to it. Previous owner had it painted, original color was yellow. Painted all the way throughout the car, not just on the outside.
Brand new 1600 dual port motor was installed on 11/21/2012 with a dual Empi carb setup (receipts to show) Since then the dual carbs have been replaced with a single carb setup. New clutch and clutch cable installed on 08/06/14 (receipts to show) and a new fuel pump was installed on 10/30/15. Full spare in trunk.
Headliner is in amazing shape and previous owner also installed new interior: Re-padded seats and upholstery, new carpet kit, new door panels throughout.
There are PAGES of receipts for all the work that has been done to it.
You can see from the photos that modifications were made on the back engine lid inside to accommodate A/C compressor and beefed up carb. After market AC- condition fair.
This a fun, fast, and zippy daily driver, fires right up!
