1978 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon 1978 Volkswagen Bus II Description

This 1978 Volkswagen bus has been driven all over town and then some. It’s also been taken on camping trips, slept in, taken skiing, camping trips, and now it’s time to pass the baton to someone else that will respect it the same way our client has.What a bus! Aside from the obvious small rust issues on the corners, (please see pics), plus the need for a paint job down the road, this bus is solid. As you will see from the well over 100 pics we take, it shows the undercarriage extremely clean.After driving it ourselves, we find the bus to drive extremely good around town. I’m assuming that the engine is a little tired and could be do for a rebuild soon. There’s no smoking and the odometer reads 35,945 which means it’s rolled over once and is really 135,954 miles. The interior is set up to sleep up to 4 people. It brings back memory’s for me of 6 of us heading to the slopes for skiing 35 years ago.So, the bus runs, drives, accommodates for sleeping, and is ready for a new owner.This bus is being offered for sale at $15,500, reasonable offers will be considered.
