1972 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Coupe Description

1972 Volkswagen Beetle "Classic"

This is a clean little Bug that's had some money spent on it recently including a professional paint job, tires, soft rubber components, engine replacement & more. This is a turn-key '72 Beetle that runs and drives good & looks great.
Enjoy the video HERE of this 72 VW Beetle up close & personal.

The body appears to have been media-blasted before its repaint. Looks like a little sand blast residue/frost on the driver's side vent window, not very noticeable. We just had the car professionally waxed & sealed as well. The body is straight and there are no major blemishes to note. The car has not been driven much since restoration.

Open the doors to 1972.

The interior is correct throughout and in very good condition including the dash, door panels, carpeting, and seat upholstery front to back. The car appears to be completely correct inside with exception of an AM/FM CD stereo.

The speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge are working.

Under the engine lid is a 1969 1500cc 53HP engine that runs out good and quiet with decent power (SEE VIDEO) The engine has some minor typical VW oil leakage, not too bad at all, plenty of undercarriage photos further below. The pans are solid and I'm not certain if they've ever been replaced or not, again see photos.

The jack points are intact and solid. This car looks to have always been a dry climate Bug, again see photos.

The trunk is also in good shape, the fuel tank & sending unit replaced during the restoration efforts. The original fuse junctions are also in place. There is a simple mat, not original or correct for the car.
